Tips |
---|
Eizen is a fast fighter, capable of inflicting damage quickly through the use of the many elements he is proficient in. Performing long combos against him is a good way for him to deal you damage – avoid these by attacking him and quickly retreating, letting any of your allies still attacking him take the brunt of the damage once Eizen's attention and attacks turn to them, allowing you to freely come back in for a quick combo.
As a means to temporarily cause Eizen to be stunned, you can make use of Alphen's Boost Attack whenever it becomes available to afford your party some time to recover from any damage you have received.
Alternatively, one other way to cause a temporary stunned status on Eizen is to wait for him to try and cast an Arte and use Rinwell's Boost Attack to inflict the same effect Alphen's attack causes.
Despite being able to use the element itself, Eizen is particularly vulnerable to any Wind-based Artes you may have. Make use of any such attacks frequently to overcome the fact that Eizen has no Weak Points to target throughout the fight.

Throughout the battle, Eizen may focus on attacking whichever character you're directly controlling. This leaves his back vulnerable to any attacks made by your allies – try switching between characters to perform attacks on Eizen's back. Attacking from a distance is also preferable, as Eizen can quickly turn around and strike back.

Thunder Fang | Soaring Light Spear |
While it is much better to try and attack Eizen from behind to avoid damage, at the recommended level, Alphen will have enough HP to outlast Eizen's attacks. By having Alphen attack from the front, it will help to distract Eizen from being able to cause damage to the rest of your party members.

Shionne can be used as a heavy attacker in this fight by making repeated use of her Tres Ventos Artes from afar. This will help to cause elemental-based damage against Eizen without having to risk her from being attacked.

While Alphen distracts Eizen and his attacks, you can allow Law to attack as he pleases from whichever direction he chooses. Simply keep Eizen's attention tied down to another character to prevent Law from being K.O.'d.

Rinwell has a good number of Wind-based Artes to use against Eizen – she can be, however, interrupted from her casting, and so you must protect her from interruptions for her to be able to cast elemental-based Artes against Eizen for strong hits.
Eizen is extremely proficient in several attacks powered by the elements. Though powerful, these attacks only often come in the form of short or medium-range attacks that can be easily be avoided by simply stepping away from wherever Eizen is facing.
During his Over Limit state, Eizen will gather energy all around himself – it is impossible to interrupt this build-up to his Dragon Howling attack, which will see him fly into the air before slamming down to the ground to send a wave of Dark Energy.
Despite you not being able to interrupt this attack, you can avoid the wave of Dark energy from it by moving around as far away from Eizen as possible. Failing this tactic, you can simply jump over the wave whenever it nears you.
