Tips for Fighting Gigants

Attack Defensively Gang up on Break States Aim for Core Breaks Expect to take a lot of damage

Attack Defensively

Focus on the defensive. Attack only when you have a clear opening. With this in mind, you can utilize the game's Counter-Edge mechanic to your advantage.

How to Do Perfect Dodges and Counter Edges

Gang up on Break States

Make every attack you land count. Whenever able, gang up on your enemy after downing them with Break Boosts. Also keep your combo strong to fill up your Boost Gauge and perform Boost Strikes to deal greater damage.

Aim for Core Breaks

Each Gigant may or may not have a weakspot. Be sure to focus on one if they appear to have one. Doing this will ensure that you have a higher chance of downing it with heavier damage.

Expect to take a lot of damage

Gigants will have a LOT of HP, partner that with their insane damage, and you are in for a world of pain!. Be sure to stock up on Gels and Life Bottles, because you are in for a lengthy fight.

Gain Astral Flowers and Crafting Materials

Astral Flowers give the effect of increasing your Max CP by 10 for every flower in your inventory. Gigant enemies also have rare drops that you can use to create some of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Necessary Sub-Quest Completion

15 out of the 20 Gigants are the bosses in some Sub-Quests. Be sure to gear up and prepare for a good fight if you plan on taking these zeugles on!
