Earn a burst of SP as a 1st Time Clear Reward

Completing sub-quests is a great way to earn SP in Tales of Arise. Each sub-quest can only be completed once but it will reward your characters with a decent amount of SP.

Having said this, just try to complete each sub-quest you stumble upon so you can earn SP.

Defeat Many Enemies

SP Bonus.png

Another sure-fire way of earning SP is by engaging in battles. Every enemy encounter will reward you with SP and your team can even get a bonus depending on how the battle went.

Stronger Enemies and Bosses Give More SP

At times, you will encounter giant monsters in the field and tough boss fights as you go through the game. Do not miss your chance on these ones because they give much more SP than normal mosnters.

Earn Bonuses for Battle Scores

Depending on your battle score after battle, an SP bonus can be earned. The Battle Score will increase or decrease based on your performance in battle.

Raises Score
Rare Enemy Powerful Enemy
Use Artes to finish off the enemy Use a Boost Strike
Use a Boost Attack Down an enemy with a Boost Attack
Score a high combo Defeat multiple enemies
Win in a short time Combo Bonus
Lowers Score
Lose the battle Die in battle
Use an item Take a long time

Unique and Gigant Enemies give lots of SP

SP (Normal Enemy) 5~10
SP (Unique) Around 100

The Gigant enemies, which are sometimes found on the map, as well as unique enemies (story bosses) will provide more SP than regular enemies, so be sure to defeat them when they are available.

Rare Species of Zeugles Also Give More SP

On rare occasions, monsters with unusual auras will appear on the field. Defeating these rare species of zeugles will earn you more SP and EXP than usual.
