You can flee from battle in Tales of Arise by pausing the game and selecting flee in the battle menu, and then withstanding enemy attacks until the escape bar disappears. Read on to learn how to flee or run from enemies from the Battle Menu, how to flee faster, as well as the benefits of fleeing.
To flee or run from enemies, simply pause the game and select Flee from the Battle Menu.
After selecting Flee, an Escape bar will appear on your screen. Your goal is to withstand or avoid enemy attacks until the escape bar completely disappears.
If successful, the player-controlled character will run from the enemies, and the battle will end.
If you wish to cancel fleeing, simply head back to the Battle Menu and select Cancel Flee to resume your battle.
The enemies you encountered will disappear after you flee, so use this to your advantage when you want to go through hordes of enemies in a pinch!
The speed at which the gauge decreases depends on the level of your enemy in relation to your own level. The lower the level of your enemy is against yours, the faster it goes down.
Note that you cannot flee against unique or gigant Zeugles. Entering such battles will prevent you from selecting Flee, and the only way to exit is to either defeat it or be defeated.
