List of All EX Quests (Extra Quests)

There are four EX quests available in the Beyond the Dawn DLC.

Flower of Happiness

How to Unlock	Recommended Level: 78 Unlocked after completing the "Faceless" Main Quest

The questline begins in Viscint Inn where the party discusses the marriage between. Inspired by the conversation, Alphen begins his research into marriage, starting with what flower is best for weddings.

	Objectives
1	Search for information on flowers for bouquets Start the quest by heading into Viscint's inn after the Faceless main quest.
2	Get information from Mahavar in Thistlym Head to Thistlym, Ganath Haros and speak to Mahavar. He's just east of the fast travel point
3	Gather information in Ulzebek Head to the Crimson Crow Headquarters in Ulzebek to learn more about Calaglia's legendary flower.
4	Search for the white flowers in the Iglia Wastes Head to the west of Iglia Wastes. The flowers are up high in a cliff, guarded by Rampage Wolves.
5	Talk about white flowers A cutscene between Alphen and Rinwell will play out immediately after the battle against the Rampage Wolves. The quest ends once Alphone and Rinwell finish their discussion.

A Feast of Blessings

How to Unlock	Recommended Level: 78 Unlocked after completing the "Flower of Happiness" EX Quest, "The True Girl's Face" Side-Quest, at least 3 Character Sub-Quests, and progressing the "For Whom" Main Quest

Alphone and Law embark on a quest to discover the perfect feast for marriage. Their investigation of the best wedding cuisine takes them across all the realms.

	Objectives
1	Talk to Avakhir and Fahria Head to the second level of Pelegion in Ganath Haros to find Avakhir and Fahria
2	Get Advice From Doc Travel to Ulzebek. Caglia and see what Doc has to say. He'll be by the well at the center of town.
3	Talk to Nottio and Cagari Nottio and Cagari are in Thistlym, Ganath Haros. They're just beside the fast travel point.
4	Acquire 3x Rappig Meat and 3x Sea Bream Gather three Rappig Meat and three Sea Bream for the couple in Thistlym.
5	Deliver the Auspicious Food to Nottio and Cagari Return to Nottio and Cagari once you have the Rappig Meat and Sea Bream. They'll be at the same spot as before.
6	Talk to Gourdeno Gourdeno is along the road towards Niez in Viscint, Menancia.
7	Acquire 1x Boss Fish Hunt a Boss Fish in select fishing spots across the realm. ►List of All Fish Types and Fishing Locations ►All Fishing Rodes and Lure Locations
8	Deliver the Boss Fish to Gourdeno Return to Viscint to deliver the boss fish to Gourdeno, who's at the same spot as before. The quest ends after your dialogue with him.

How to Unlock	Recommended Level: 84 Unlocked midway through the "Land of the Beginning" Main Quest and after completing the "A Feast of Blessings" EX Quest

Alphone enlists the help of Dohalim to investigate what life is like after marriage. The pair go around the realms to look for insight into the ideal home for a newly-wed couple.

	Objectives
1	Talk to Drashin in Viscint Start off by speaking to Drashin in Viscint. He's just by the stairs leading up to Autelina Palace
2	Talk to Bregon in Cyslodia Bregon is in Cysloden's central palace, just outside the building that houses the fast travel point.
3	Talk to Ganye in Pelegion Head to Pelegion in Ganath Haros to speak to Ganye. He's just by the third level's fast travel point.
4	Talk to Lagill in Viscint Return to Viscint and speak to Lagill. She's along the street leading to Niez.
5	Defeat the Giant Zeugle in Traslida Highway Defeat the Invincible Dasher in Traslida Highway, northeast of the fast travel point.
6	Report Back to Lagill in Viscint Finish the EX Quest by returning to Lagill at the same spot in Viscint.

How to Unlock	Recommended Level: 84 Unlocked midway through the "Land of the Beginning" Main Quest and after completing the "Relaxing Residence" EX Quest

Alphone struggles with the right words to say during a proposal and asks Kisara for advice. This somehow takes our hero to Iglia Wastes to prove his strongest trait: Strength.

	Objectives
1	Defeat the Giant Zeugle in Iglia Wastes You'll be up against the Masher Villain and Masher Desperado in Iglia Wastes, southeast of the fast travel point. Take note that Alphen and Shionne are the only playable characters for this fight, with the former being alone against a pack of Blast Bees, Rampage Wolves, and Rockmadillos at the start.
2	Talk to Shionne A long cutscene plays out immediately after the battle in Iglia Wastes. The quest ends after Alphen and Shionne's conversation.

What Are EX Quests?

Story Arc Regarding Alphen and Shionne's Relationship

EX Quests (Extra Quest) are essentially a short story arc in which the gang helps Alphen learn more about marriage, without Shionne knowing. These are a chain of four optional quests that begin at Viscint's Inn and can be initiated once players finish the Faceless main quest.

Starting the Questline Unlocks Shionne's Diary

Shionne's diary is a new feature that you can unlock as soon as they start the first quest: Flower of Happiness. This is where she'll keep notes of her day to day with the group and will fill up with entries as you progress through the EX quests. You can access Shionne's diary from the from the Field Guide menu.

Shionne is Still A Playable Character

Despite the entire story arc revolving around Alphone conducting his research in secret, Shionne is still a playable character in any of the EX Quests and can be used as an active party member, party leader, or standby for boost attacks.

Certain Sub-Quests are Suspended or Unavailable During the EX Questline

Certain Sub-Quests will be temporarily unavailable once an EX Quest is active. Those that you've accepted prior to starting an EX Quest will be temporarily suspended until the EX Quest is complete as well.

EX Quest Rewards

SP and Gald

EX Quests, like most types of quests, offer your standard SP and Gald upon completion. The amount of either one is not particularly high as well and is often on par with Sub-Quests.

Updates to Shionne's Diary

As previously mentioned, EX Quests are essentially story-driven quests that tackle the relationship between Alphen and Shionne. As you progress through each EX Quest, Shionne's Diary will be updated with new entries that provide insight into her thoughts as the story develops.

Take note that these are just bits of in-game lore and character development. Having a full journal serves no functional benefit for the gameplay itself.
