Like most zeugles of its type, Flamewrecker has its Weak Point on its back. Managing to destroy this Weak Point can take a persistent amount of effort to do, and will require several direct hits from Alphen or Law's Boost Strikes.
Flamewrecker is also more than capable of protecting this area, as it can quickly spin in place to deliver a powerful blow using its ball-like right hand, which can easily deplete your HP – these can easily be dodged perfectly, allowing you to perform a quick counter-attack against it.
As a Fire powered creature, Flamewrecker is weak to any Water-based attack you may have. Having both Rinwell and Shionne in your party allows you to cause the creature more elemental-based damage, reducing its overall health faster than with normal attacks.

In your Artes List for each character you intend to put in your active party, disable all Fire-based Artes to force any non-player controlled character to make use of Artes that Flamewrecker is not resistant to – this will allow you to cause it decent amounts of damage in the long run, reducing the amount of time you have to fight it.

Although Flamewrecker is resistant to fire, Alphen's Boost Attack is still effective in staggering the creature, forcing it to kneel to the ground. Make use of Alphen's Boost Attack whenever it becomes available, as it is a good way to also slow down the creature from being able to perform its powerful attacks.

Although Shionne has plenty of Water-based attacks, her role as the group's primary healer should still be kept due to the powerful nature of Flamewrecker's attacks. Most of your party, particularly Alphen and Rinwell, will need healing due to Flamewrecker's ability to perform close and long-ranged attacks.

If you do not have many Water-type Artes unlocked for Rinwell, she can still prove to be a useful character by way of her other, powerful attacks. Simply allow her to do as she pleases during the fight, and protect her whenever Flamewrecker intends to attack her during her attempts to perform an Artes.

In a similar role to Alphen, use Law to cause significant damage against Flamewrecker's Weak Point. Aggressively attack the point until it breaks – Law's Boost Attack, if it can directly hit the Weak Point, can cause Critical Hits to occur.
Similar to other zeugles of its type, Flamewrecker can charge straight towards you in a powerful attack. These charges can be easily stopped in its tracks by making use of Kisara's Boost Attack, which will cause it to fall to the ground.
The second variant of this attack, however, where it will use its entire body to slam on top of you, cannot be blocked and must be avoided. Dodging out of the way of this attack is difficult, so it is recommended that you create a large enough distance between your controlled character and Flamewrecker to avoid taking damage.
Flamewrecker also possesses two attack variations wherein it will use its ball-like hand against you. The first of these is a simple forward swipe, which it often uses if two or more from your party is directly attacking in from its front.
The last, and much more dangerous, is when it will slam its hand down to the ground repeatedly while stepping towards you – if caught in this attack, it will cause your controlled character to lay on the ground in a stunned state, leaving you vulnerable to further attacks.
Giant balls of fire can be launched directly against you by Flamewrecker through the use of its hands. These can easily be avoided by moving to the side in one direction or moving diagonally with respect to where Flamewrecker is.
Its "special" attack will see Flamewrecker slam its hand into the ground, causing a slow-moving wave of fire to blast outwards. These can be avoided by jumping over the wave when it nears you.
