To aid in your battle against Chronos, here are some tips that you can utilize in your fight.
Chronos' attacks are all-powerful and can be executed quickly. Even if you limit your attacks to a short combo, Chronos is still capable of catching you with his attacks, all of which are difficult to anticipate. The only real way to avoid taking large amounts of damage will be to dodge frequently, ideally as soon as you think Chronos is about to attack.
Several times during the first phase of the battle, and even moreso during the second phase, many of your allies will be K.O.'d by Chronos' attacks, particularly with his attacks that can stop time. Thankfully, Chronos' attention remains on a specific character during these attacks. Use this time to revive any fallen ally immediately to reduce the high risk of a Party Defeat.
Many of Chronos' attacks are from close range. Take advantage of this by picking a strong long-ranged Artes – such as Tres Ventos – and fire away from a safe distance. Once you see Chronos marching towards you, immediately move away.

Chronos is a very strong character to fight against – having one healer who'll divide their duties between attacking and healing will be difficult to manage. Consider replacing either Law or Alphen with Dohalim to have a substitute healer at the ready, or simply bring along plenty of recovery items.

Thunder Fang | Devastation |

Although Alphen at this stage can deal high amounts of damage quickly, he does not have enough defense to survive some of Chronos' more deadly attacks.
When going in for attacks with Alphen, make sure to dodge or move away every few seconds to prevent Alphen from taking too much damage from Chronos' melee attacks.

Despite being the primary healer of your group, Shionne will also prove to be invaluable in this fight. By making use of her Tres Ventos Arte, she can deal high amounts of damage and occaisionally even critical damage against Chronos from afar.
The only real danger this presents to your party is that it sacrifices time Shionne could be healing in favor of a more offensive approach. This makes bringing along Dohalim as a healer practically necessary if you plan on spamming Shionne's offensive artes.

Talon Hurricane | Fang Bolero |
Whirlwind Snap | Eagle Assault |
Law's ability to execute a Mystic Artes quickly is a good way to deal damage ranging in the thousands to Chronos. Managing to activate Law's Over Limit however, is a difficult task due to Chronos' ability to quickly KO party members.
To get Law to use his Mystic Artes, be sure to pay extra attention to his HP, using any recovery Artes or items on him whenever needed.

Throughout the fight, you may wish to consider directly controlling Rinwell from time to time. Leaving her to automatically fight against the boss on her own will sometimes lead to her moving too close, leaving her vulnerable to attacks. Any time this happens, switch over to her and move her away to keep her safe.
Chronos is equipped with several melee attacks that are difficult to understand the pattern of. In a similar fight structure to that of Edna, she can weave in and out of close-ranged melee attacks before finishing off her combo with a long-ranged Beam Attack.
These attacks are difficult to avoid, so simply keep moving around her in circles to avoid her attacks.
Towards the end of any of her close-ranged attacks, Chronos will try to finish you off with three variations of beams, with these beams being:
Getting hit by any of these Beam Attacks will cause your character to be stunned, allowing for further hits until you can recover.
Chronos' most powerful attack will see it freeze time, teleporting to whichever character you are directly controlling before delivering powerful blows that will K.O. you even at full health.
This attack is unavoidable, but you can reduce this attack's effectiveness by simply reviving the fallen character immediately to have them come back to the fight.

" Time attacks : "This attack is unavoidable, but you can reduce this attack's effectiveness by simply reviving the fallen character immediately to have them come back to the fight." In fact, this is dodgeable, you need to get the good timing and dodge just before he stop time, and then he'll focus you but deal no damage. Kinda easy once you have the good timing :)
