To trigger Break Boosts, you need to constantly attack the enemy with your normal attacks and artes.

Use Skills With Penetration

The best abilities that can trigger Break Boosts quick are the ones that have Penetration. This can stagger and knockdown enemies, along with damaging armored enemies effectively.

Use Counter Edges

Tales of Arise Perfect Dodge and Counter Edge

Counter Edges can be triggered after performing a Perfect Dodge. You can perform additional attack combos after using Counter Edge, giving you the chance to use Break Boosts.
