Take Out the Assault Bees First

Your other party members will prioritize attacking the surrounding Assault Bees first even if you're locked on to the Regent Bee. Help them take out the smaller bees while dodging Regent Bee's attacks so you can all focus on your main target as soon as possible.

Perform Boost Breaks

Alphen and Shionne's boost attacks can cripple Regent Bee for a few seconds. However, when using Shionne's boost attack, make sure that the "wing" icon on the giant bee's status is enabled first. Otherwise, her boost attack will only damage the target without achieving a boost break.

Aim for the Core

Lock on to its weak point and focus your attacks there for a core break. Since Regent Bee's flight isn't that high, even your melee characters can easily bring the pain with their ground attacks.

Aim for a core break

Have Alphen or Shionne use their boost attack to achieve a boost break before performing a combo on the bee's core. Make sure to use Steel beforehand to increase your damage output.

Use Blazing Sword skills

Use Blazing Sword skills to take out the Assault Bees faster. You can also use these skills on Regent Bee but be sure to keep an eye on your own HP.

Use boost attack for instant boost break

Alphen's boost attack can stagger Regent Bee regardless if it's flying or not. Use his boost attack if Shionne's boost attack is unusable.

Save her boost attack for Regent Bee

Try not to use Shionne's boost attack on the Assault Bees and save it for Regent Bee unless you have an Increased Boost Gauge from Enemy Downs skill unlocked from the skill panel. This skill can help you get your boost attack ready much faster.

Keep aggro away from Shionne

Shionne will be your main healer in this battle so you must keep her alive. You can equip her with an accessory with Decrease Aggro L skill or retain aggro on your melee characters.

Regent Bee Attack Patterns

Sting

Regent Bee prepares its stinger and quickly darts toward your character.

Numbing Darts

Releases darts in a wide area in front of it that damages and can inflict Paralyze on hit.

Hive Bombs

Once its HP drops below 50%, it will enter Over Limit mode and will start sending out swarms of exploding bees. One of this attack's two variations will send out exploding bees across the field instead of just 5 homing bees.
