Take Out the Hawks First

The battle will begin with a few Archer Hawks around. Take them out first as they can interrupt you while you're attacking Stormbringer. Use boost attacks if necessary to make this process faster.

Bring It Down

It's difficult to get a few hits in, especially if you're using a melee character, if Stormbringer is above you. Bring it to the ground using Alphen or Shionne's boost attacks before going all out.

Aim for the Core

Stormbringer's weak point is on its right wing. While it's down, use your strongest Earth artes on Stormbringer's weak point to achieve a core break.

Use boost attacks to bring it down

Alphen and Shionne's boost attacks can bring Stormbringer to the ground, making it defenseless and its weak point open for attacks. Shionne's Wing Clip won't boost break Stormbringer in quick succession. Be sure to check its status first to see if the "wing" icon is enabled before using Shionne's boost attack again.

Aim for a core break

Try to maintain Law's Awakening to dish out massive damage on its core. Bring Stormbringer down with Alphen or Shionne's boost attacks and when it's weak point is open, cast Steel before going all out.

Use boost attack for instant boost break

Alphen's boost attack can boost break Stormbringer regardless if it's flying or not. Use his boost attack if Shionne's boost attack is unusable.

Keep aggro away from Shionne

Shionne will be your main healer (as always) in this battle so you must keep her alive. You can equip her with an accessory with Decrease Aggro L skill or maintain aggro on your melee characters.

Stormbringer Attack Patterns

Charge

Stormbringer will charge swiftly at your character. It can use this attack multiple times in a row so be ready to dodge.

Air Bombs

Stormbringer will fly around the field while carpet bombing your party with orbs of wind. These orbs will turn to a tornado as it touches the ground and deal continuous Wind damage.

Sea Storm

Stormbringer will start using this attack once it enters Over Limit mode and its HP drops below 50%. It will quickly whip up torrents from the ground that deals continuous Water damage in a wide area. Move away from Stormbringer and prepare to dodge this attack once it enters Over Limit mode.
