Serpenphare Location
The Continent
Serpenphare can be located flying above the White Sands at the east side of The Continent. Serpenphare is only accessible after unlocking Esquie's flying ability at the start of Act 3. To start the fight, simply run into Serpenphare while flying.
How to Beat Serpenphare
Equip AP Recovery Luminas
Serpenphare's main gimmick is that it absorbs all your AP at the start of its turn. To counter this, equip AP recovery Luminas such as Energising Turn or Energising Attack I to quickly recover AP for your Skills.
It is also highly recommended equip Luminas like Energising Parry, Dodger, or Energising Jump since Serpenphare often follows its AP absorption move with multi-hit attacks that you can get AP from.
Best Pictos for Each Character
Use Lightning Weapons and Skills
Serpenphare is weak to Lightning, so make sure to equip Lightning weapons and Skills for the fight. Skills that use your weapon's element is also good as long you equip a Lightning one.
We recommend bringing Lune to this fight, as she has numerous Lightning skills like Lightning Dance in her arsenal.
Expedition 33 Character Builds
Take Advantage of the Explosion
When Serpenphare absorbs too much AP, it will explode, dealing damage to itself and the Expedition. Take advantage of this, as Serpenphare will be stunned after exploding, giving you a window where you can attack without fearing retaliation. Equip Luminas such as Stun Boost to deal more damage to Serpenphare while it is stunned.
