You can get the Piece of Cake after returning the Toy Boat quest item to the 3 Half-Baked Gestrals located north of the Open Playground Expedition Flag in Verso's Drafts.

Have Your Characters Ride the Attraction

Very Very Very Cool Gestral

From the Reverie Path Expedition Flag, head west until you spot Candy Land, the carnival. Then talk to the Very Very Cool Gestral and have all the characters ride the attraction. Do note that each character will also get the Esquie outfit after riding the attraction.

Two Esquie Statues
From Verso's Draft's entrance, head east until you spot multiple glowing Esquie statues. Then, interact with the statue on the right first, followed by the one on the left.

Another Esquie Statue
Behind the two statues, there is another statue under a waterfall. Interact with it to solve the puzzle.

Half-baked Life Guard
To claim the piece of cake, talk to the Half-baked Lifeguard to claim a haircut for Monoco and a third piece of cake. If its the last piece, the quest item will automatically turn into a Birthday Cake!

You need to give the Birthday Cake to the Cake Door north of the Gestral Baths Expedition flag for it to open.
