Karatom Quest Guide
Blue Mushroom Location
| Blue Mushroom Location in Esquie's Nest | |

| 1 |  After speaking to Karatom, head to Esquie's Nest. From the Entrance flag, head into the nest. Once you're in the main cavern, jump into the water to the right. Be careful as there is a Mime nearby also. |
| 2 |  Jump into the water and you'll see a patch of glowing mushrooms. Approach it and get the Blue Mushroom from the patch. Keep in mind that in Act 2 onwards, you can still get the Blue Mushroom but can't submit it to Karatom anymore. |
| 3 |  Bring the Blue Mushroom back to Karatom. Proceed with the conversation and a battle with the Ultimate Sakapatate commences. |
| 4 | Finish the battle and continue talking with Karatom to end the quest. |
Karatom Quest Rewards
Pure Outfit For Gustave
After defeating the Ultimate Sakapatate and finishing the quest, you'll get the Pure Outfit for Gustave along with Polished Chroma Catalysts and a Recoat.

Karatom is a Quest NPC that's located in Gestral Village, which is unlocked during Act 2: Gustave in the story. Karatom is located to the right of some Gestrals building their Sakapatate. Head to the Arena sign and go left to see the Gestrals and Karatom nearby.
Karatom Quest Information
Must Be Completed in Act 1
Karatom's side quest must be completed in Act 1 because if you finish Act 1 and even if you have the Blue Mushroom in your inventory, you won't be able to complete it and get the reward. Karatom will keep asking where the man with the metal arm is.
