Act 2 is calculated with 90 points at level 30.
Act 3 is calculated with 180 points at level 60.
Verso does well when he has high Agility as it allows him to act more frequently while increasing his damage thanks to the scaling of some of his strong weapons. After putting points into Agility, invest in Luck for a higher Critical Hit rate, plus some other increases to his stats.
This leveling strategy carries over to Act 3, with you ideally getting his Agility to 99. Once his Agility is 99, dump all of the other points into Luck for even more Critical Rate and weapon damage. Once both Agility and Luck are at 99, you can distribute the points however you want.

Gaulteram is a great Act 2 weapon for Verso thanks to its high Agility and Luck Scaling and decent Power. Additionally, its Level 4 Passive skill that prevents Rank loss when you are hit is a strong one, especially if you are still getting used to Verso's playstyle.
Once you are used to Verso's playstyle in Act 3, however, switching to Chevalam is ideal thanks to its strong Passive Skills. Not only do you start at Rank S, but you also have increased damage for every turn that you do not take damage. Since Verso's playstyle revolves around dodging and parrying attacks, you can get up to 100% additional damage this way.

Verso's skills revolve around getting to Rank S as fast as possible. Start fights off with Quick Strike to quickly jump to Rank B. Afterward, use Assault Zero until you reach Rank A. Lastly, use Light Holder to recover AP and jump to Rank S after finishing the attack.
Once there, you can keep performing Defiant Strike to deal a lot of damage to the enemy while also applying a Mark on the enemy that his teammates can take advantage of. Should you need AP or HP, you can then use Paradigm Shift and Perfect Recovery respectively.
In Act 3, however, you won't need to build up your Rank to S thanks to Chevalam's Passive Skill. Instead, you can immediately start dealing damage. If you are against multiple enemies, use Phantom Stars to deal a lot of AoE damage. Alternatively, you can replace Phantom Stars with Perfect Break since it can also break, but deals very high single-target damage.
Spamming Ascending Assault is good, as its damage ramps up the more you use it. Follow Up is powerful as long as you spam Free Aim shots before using it. It's not hard to do since you can equip Luminas related to Free Aim that also gives you AP, allowing you to spam it.

Verso's Picto choices revolve around giving him as much Speed and Critical Rate as possible, while still giving him strong Passive skills. As for Luminas, these help increase Verso's damage output and give him decent Survivability and AP recovery. Luminas like Augmented First Strike, Staggering Attack, and Breaker help Verso Break enemies and defeat them.
Energising Start II, Energising Break, and Dead Energy help with his AP upkeep. If you are confident in your parrying, you can change some Luminas with Energising Parry and Perilous Parry for even more AP upkeep. Lastly, Healing Parry helps give Verso sustain, as you are forced to parry a lot with him anyway.

The equipped Pictos give Verso strong passives, while also giving him Critical Rate, Health, and Speed. The Lumina themselves revolve around strengthening Verso's parries as much as possible, as well as increasing his damage output even with the downsides.
As your gameplay with Verso involves parrying and not getting hit, Luminas like Confident Fighter and Glass Canon will be your main source of damage amplification. As long as you parry well, you will be able to output large amounts of damage. You can also equip Luminas that are related to Free Aim to further maximize your Follow Up skill.

Verso can serve as the team's Sub-DPS, buffing himself and his teammates with Powerful while still dishing out decent amounts of damage with his other skills. Lune will support this team by healing the team and inflicting status effects like Slow and Burning on the enemy. Lastly, Maelle will be the main DPS, performing her Virtuose and Offensive Combos while being buffed by both Verso and Lune.
This team is still usable in Act 3, however the gameplay will slightly change. Verso will be sacrificing Powerful and Perfect Recovery for strong offensive moves like Ascending Assault and Phantom Stars, pushing his DPS capabilities to its limit. Lune will be handling all of the supporting with her heals and debuffs, with Maelle dealing her own large amounts of damage. Verso can still apply Marks for Maelle with Defiant Strike, as Maelle has access to even stronger skills at this point in the game.
Make sure to parry and dodge well with Verso, as this build and team does turn him into a literal glass cannon.

When playing Verso, try to get to S Rank as soon as possible. Being at S Rank gives you the highest damage increase, making your attacks hit harder than ever before.

It is necessary to learn how to parry and dodge attacks with Verso as this is the easiest way to build and maintain your Perfection Rank.
Successful parries and dodges increase your Perfection Rank while also protecting you from damage, which prevents your Rank from going down.

Most of Verso's skills have an optimal rank to use them in, which grants them additional effects. The effects range from additional damage to increasing AP recovery.
As such, it is important to use your Skills at the optimal Rank as much as possible.
