How to Unlock the Camp Function
Defeat Eveque During Act 1: Gustave
After defeating the boss Eveque during Act 1: Gustave of the main quest, you will unlock the Camp function! You can Go to Camp anywhere in the overworld.
What To Do in the Camp
- Rest and Recover
- Talk to Party Members
- Upgrade Weapons
- Play Music
- Write in the Journal
- Get Rewards From Sastro
- Leave Through the Bonfire
Rest and Recover
Similar to Expedition Flags, you have the option to rest in your Camp. Interacting with the bonfire in the middle of the camp gives you the option to Sleep.
Talk to Party Members
Your party members will appear within the Camp where you can approach and interact with them for extra dialogue! Talking to your party also raises your Relationship level with them.
Upgrade Weapons and Use Colour of Lumina
As you progress the game, certain characters and NPCs can be invited to appear in your Camp, where you can interact with them.
The Curator, for example, is someone you meet at The Manor and will allow you to upgrade your weapons and use Colours of Lumina to unlock more Lumina effects.
Play Music at the Gramophone
You can play the Music Records you've collected throughout your journey in the camp. They can be rewards from quests or can be discovered by exploring the map.
Obtain Gustave's Homage Skill
Gustave's Homage is a skill that can be obtained after writing several times on Gustave's journal at camp.
After Act 1, Maelle would be the one to write in the journal, and you can still obtain the skill.
Get Rewards From Sastro
You can also eventually talk to the NPC Sastro, who will give you rewards in exchange for finding Lost Gestrals during exploration!
Leave by Interacting with the Bonfire
When you wish to leave your Camp and continue playing, interact with the bonfire in the middle of the camp.
The bonfire gives you several options, including Sleep, Remember the current objective, Write in the journal of Gustave's apprentices, and Leave.
