How to Get to Sirenes Dress

The Chromatic Glissando is located in the optional Sirene's Dress area, which requires Esquie's flight ability to reach. Note that the boss and Sirene's Dress are also part of Lune's relationship levels.

Once at Sirene's Dress, open the door by having Lune play music. The boss will appear at the end of the linear path behind the door.

How to Beat Chromatic Glissando

Shoot the Chromatic Glissando's Tail

Chromatic Glissando Glowing Tail

When the Chromatic Glissando's tail is glowing, it has access to stronger attacks, and the Dizzy status. This makes it harder to aim using Free Aim, which can make the fight harder as Free Aim is needed to hit its tail and weaken it.

To disable the Chromatic Glissando's tail, shoot at it several times in Free Aim. Eventually the tail will break after taking enough damage, which will weaken the boss' attacks significantly.

Avoid Having Dead Characters

Chromatic Glissando Eating a Dead Party Member

Having any dead characters on-field is especially detrimental against Chromatic Glissando, as it will eat dead team members and heal itself substantially.

The dead character cannot be revived if eaten, and will remain ingested until Chromatic Glissando dies or is broken. Aim to revive dead characters as soon as possible to avoid losing them for the fight.

How to Break Enemies

Be Prepared for the Bouquet Final

Chromatic Glissando Bouquet Final

When the Chromatic Glissando dies, it will release the Bouquet Final, spawning three more enemies that you will have to take care of. Before landing the final blow, heal up so you're topped off for the ensuing minions.

Chromatic Glissando Attack Patterns

Tail Slam

Chromatic Glissando uses its tail to slam the Expedition, attacking the whole party 7 times. Dodge each hit as soon as you hear the swishing sound cue.

Gradient Tail Slam

Chromatic Glissando uses its tail to slam the Expedition, swinging at the team 5 times. Dodge the first pair of hits in quick succession when you hear the swishing audio, and again for the third and fourth.

Be prepared to Gradient Counter the final hit, and press the input once you see its eyes glow bright.

Weakened Tail Slam

Chromatic Glissando slams the Expedition with its weakened tail, hitting everyone 3 times. Dodge when you hear the swishing sound cue, but delay your dodges a bit between swings as the movement for this attack is more sluggish.

Blinding Attack

Chromatic Glissando blinds the Expedition, swiping at the party with its tail once. The attack will inflict Dizzy, so dodge a second after you see its tail tilt backwkards.

Head Smash

Chromatic Glissando smashes its head into the Expedition, hitting all party members 2 times. Dodge as soon as its body starts falling down for each slam. Note that there is a version of this slam with only 1 hit as well.
