Should You Attack Troubadour?
Do Not Attack Troubadour Initially

It is not recommended to attack Troubadour as players will lose the opportunity to gain a special reward later in the story. Another Nevron NPC can be spoken to later on that will award the players for keeping these special Nevrons alive.
Attacking Troubadour Will Lead to a Boss Fight
Choosing to attack Troubadour will lead to a boss fight. Restore your health and update your attributes and skills at the nearby rest point before choosing this option.

Attacking Troubadour can be done after unlocking the Aiding the Enemy achievement. This allows players to obtain both the rewards of the quest and the battle without missing out on either the achievement or the special reward later on.

Troubadour Quest Walkthrough
Trumpet Trial Guide
Troubadour's trial has three phases that involve them using a trumpet that dishes out green and red orbs. When the red orbs pop up, dodge. When the green orb shows up, stay still.
Do note that in order to move on to the next phase, you need to dodge or absorb all the obs from the previous phase. The fastest way to determine the color of the orb is to pay attention to the bell of the trumpet!

Obtain the Healing Parry Picto
After completing the Troubadour Trial, talk to the NPC again to get the Healing Parry Picto!
One Resplendent Chroma Catalyst
Players can also obtain one Resplendent Chroma Catalyst during the quest. Note that these rewards are only available after attacking and winning against Troubadour in battle!
