Chromatic Troubadour Location
Located in Flying Waters
Chromatic Troubadour can be found in Flying Waters. At the Lumieran Streets checkpoint, follow the path on the left of the giant tower at the center. Grapple up to the next platform and continue forward, passing through the balcony of the toppled tower. Eventually, you'll reach an isolated area surrounded by corals.

You will also find the Chromatic Troubadour inside the Endless Tower as the notable enemy for Stage 5, Trial 3.
How to Beat Chromatic Troubadour
Shoot at the Center of its Head
Chromatic Troubador's weak point is the glowing core at the center of its head. Use Free Aim to target it and deal significant damage to the Chromatic Troubadour.
Parry its Attacks
When the Chromatic Troubadour attacks with its trumpet, its first few hits can take out a huge chunk of your party member's HP. You'll want to parry all its attacks successfully to deal counter damage. You can also dodge its attacks first to get a feel for its attack rhythm.
When the Chromatic Troubadour uses Tricky Shot, take note that the first hit comes from its trumpet. After it swings it at your party member, wait for the green flames to come down one by one and parry them as well.
Deal Additional Damage with Strong Attacks
Chromatic Troubadour is Weak to Light, but you won't have access to skills of this element in the early game, especially when exploring Flying Waters for the first time. However, you can still return to the area to challenge the boss even when you're further into the story.
Generally, you'll need to utilize your available character's playstyles and skills to deal as much damage as you can. For example, since you'll be parrying a lot in this battle, you can easily build up stacks for Gustave's Overcharge skill.
