How to Beat Chromatic Lancelier
Take First Strike and Shoot the Core
Just like the regular Lancelier, the weakpoint of this mechanoid is its glowing monoeye core. This will immediately chip a quarter of the boss's health down, making the fight easier for the player to finish.
Unlike the regular Lancelier that attempts to chase the player, this Boss only stays in place around its area, making First Strike a mandatory approach to the target.
List of Enemies and Weaknesses
Break and Stagger
Just like with all enemies, the best way to immediately finish a target is to break the enemy's yellow stagger bar, stunning and making them vulnerable for several turns.
Gustave's Lumiere Assault or Lune's Earth-stained skills can damage the stagger bar of enemies quickly with this also working against the Chromatic Lancelier.
Exploit Ice Weakness
The Chromatic Lancelier is weak to Ice-based attacks just like it's regular counterparts. Lune's Ice-stained skills such as Ice Lance will take down the boss quicker.
Parry and Counter
The Chromatic Lancelier's moveset is rather easy to parry, being almost similar to it's regular version. Try to dodge first before parrying to learn the enemy's attack patterns then start parrying the target to enable counter damage!

| How to Dodge | Dodge quickly as soon as the thrust animation is seen. |

Chromatic Lancelier Location
Located in Grand Meadow
Chromatic Lancelier can be found after entering the Grand Meadow section of Spring Meadows. This is the first Optional Boss the player will usually encounter.
From the Expedition Flag at the start of Grand Meadow, turn right until the player encounters their tutorial against flying opponents but instead of grappling upwards, take a right.
Follow the path to reach an arch where Chromatic Lancelier stands waiting. Behind the mechanoid lies a Chroma stash.
Endless Tower
You will also find the Chromatic Lancelier inside the Endless Tower as the notable enemy for Stage 8, Trial 2.
