Main Gate

| 1 |  Before entering Forgotten Battlefield, setup Camp and update your weapons, Luminas, and skills, especially for the recently unlocked character Verso. It is highly recommended to equip the First Strike Lumina for everyone as enemy speed will start picking up from this point forward. ▶ Expedition 33 Character Builds |
| 2 |  After updating your characters, mount Esquie and swim north. The entrance to Forgotten Battlefield is a large metal grid gate surrounded by shipwrecks. ▶ Esquie Character Profile |
| 3 |  A cutscene will play immediately after entering Forgotten Battlefield. A battle with Chalier will occur afterwards, serving as the game's tutorial for Gradient Counters. Take note of this mechanic as later bosses will include this feature in their attack patterns. ▶ How to Parry and Counter |
Vanguard Point
| Vanguard Point Walkthrough | |

| 1 |  After the Gradient Counter tutorial, rest up at the Main Gate Expedition Flag before continuing. The path will split in several directions, with each path containing their own set of items and materials. Taking the left path leads to the Sweet Kill Picto, while taking the right path leads to the Energising Start IV. Climb the ledge past the Chalier enemy to enter the Forgotten Ruins section that houses Energising Death. After collecting the items, return the Chalier enemy and ascend the ramp to find the Vanguard Point Expedition Flag. ▶ All Expedition Flags |
| 2 |  Descend the pipe near the rest point and head towards the Fading Woman where the path splits once more. From the Fading Woman, taking the left path leads to the Battlefield section where a Petank can be found. The right path leads to the Empoering Tint Picto and the Chromatic Luster optional boss that drops Energising Parry and Lusteson. Directly past the Fading Woman is a trench that contains the Paint Cage of the area. ▶ All Paint Cage Locations |
| 3 |  Past the trench leads to a grassy section where the Expedition 57 Journal is located. Climb the nearby zipline to find the merchant Kasumi who sells Benisim and Inverted Affinity. Defeating them in battle unlocks the Obscur Outfit for Maelle in their shop. ▶ All Journal Locations |
Ancient Bridge
| Ancient Bridge Walkthrough | |

| 1 |  Past the Expedition 57 Journal is the Ancient Bridge rest point. Rest up and update your Luminas and attributes to prepare for the upcoming boss fight. Once done, cross the bridge for a cutscene to occur, where a boss fight with Dualliste starts afterwards. The boss resists Fire and Dark but is weak to Light, where Verso shines due to his numerous Light elemental skills. ▶ How to Beat Dualliste |
| 2 |  Dualliste drops the Dualiso weapon for Verso and the Combo Attack I Picto upon its defeat. Climb the zipline and traverse the path to head to the next area. Collect the Revive Tint Energy Picto near the ruins before entering the alley that leads to a cutscene. |
| 3 |  Once the cutscene ends, head into the portal to exit Forgotten Battlefield. A Camp is set up upon exiting, allowing players to prepare before heading to Monoco's Station ▶ Monoco's Station 100% Guide |
How to Catch Petank in Forgotten Battlefield
Lead It to the Purple Trap
After encountering the Petank past the Battlefield rest point, approach from its right for it to run towards the other side of the area. Afterwards, approach it from its 3 o'clock for it to flee towards the far end. Finally, approach from its left to lead it to the trap.

Dualliste is the main story boss of Forgotten Battlefield, encountered past the Ancient Bridge rest point. A cutscene will occur when crossing the bridge that leads to the boss fight.
Chromatic Luster is the optional boss in Forgotten Battlefield, located at the far end of the right path from the Fading Woman.

 Move past the Fading Woman and take the right passage. Found in the room on the first left of the path. Awards a Chroma Elixir Shard when broken. |

How to Go to Forgotten Battlefield
Swim to the Northern Side of The Continent
Forgotten Battlefield can be found in the northern section of The Continent. Mount Esquie and swim up north to find the entrance to the Forgotten Battlefield.
Note that swimming with Esquie becomes available at the start of Act 2.
