You can pick up Polished Chroma Catalysts while exploring Stone Wave Cliffs, Forgotten Battlefield, and Old Lumiere. Polished Chroma Catalysts and other Tints have a purple glow.
How to Use Polished Chroma Catalyst
Used to Upgrade Weapons
You can use Polished Chroma Catalysts to upgrade the weapons of your playable characters. You will need to unlock the Curator in your Camp to use this feature.
After unlocking the Curator in your Camp, you can interact with him and select Upgrade Weapons. Starting Act 3, you can interact with Expedition Flags to upgrade your weapons.

Goblu is the first enemy that will drop Polished Chroma Catalysts. After defeating Goblu at the Flying Waters, you will receive 1 Polished Chroma Catalyst.
When you reach the Ancient Sanctuary, you will face more enemies that drop Polished Chroma Catalysts.
