How to Break Enemies
Fill the Yellow Break Bar
Enemies have a yellow Break Bar beneath their health bars that get filled every time you hit them with attacks and they take damage.
Attack with Special Skills
When the Break Bar is filled, attack with certain skills such as Gustave's Overcharge to inflict Broken on the enemy. You can check if a skill can trigger Break in the skill's description.

| Rockslide | Skill Effect: Deals medium single target Earth damage. 2 hits. Can Break. Consumes one Lightning, Ice, and Fire Stain for greatly increased damage. Special Mechanic: Adds 1 Earth Stain and 1 Light Stain Cost: 2SP | 5AP |
| Fleuret Fury | Skill Effect: Deals high single target Physical damage. 3 hits. If in Virtuose Stance, stay in Virtuose Stance. Can Break. Special Mechanic: Switch to Stanceless Cost: 2SP | 6AP |
| Shatter | Skill Effect: Deals High Lightning damage to all enemies. Can Break. If a target is Broken by the hit, Overcharge is fully Charged. Special Mechanic: None Cost: 6SP | 5AP |
| Phantom Blade | Skill Effect: Deals high single target Dark damage. 1 hit. Consumes all Foretell to deal additional damage. Can Break. Special Mechanic: Adds 1 Moon and 1 Sun Charge Cost: 2SP | 5AP |

Broken Effects
Applies Stun and Shows Weak Points
When the enemy is Broken, the Stun status effect is applied! Some enemies will also expose their Weak Spot when Broken.
