The most obvious enemy weakpoints involve glowing enemy cores that the player can free-aim and destroy. Lanceliers and Abbests have a glowing core that is easy-to-spot, netting the player some massive free damage if hit.
Not all enemies share glowing parts for weaknesses, however and some are more subtle. Several enemies also do not have any glowing parts so the player is advised to be vigilant during combat.

Some fights do not present a direct weakpoint against the enemy but rather objects of interest around the fight.
Some examples include the Demineur's Mine which can be destroyed by free-aim shooting, damaging other targets around the Demineur. Being aware of an enemy's features will aid the player in finding enemy weakpoints that are not immediately obvious.

Some enemies present conditions upon themselves that make them weak to different attacks with Flying Enemies being the biggest example.
Volesters, Ballets and other flying enemies cannot be hit easily due to their flight capabilities and the only way to take them out is by shooting them down with free-aim attacks.
Some of these enemies share two or more weaknesses indicated here and exploiting both allows the player to easily eliminate mobs with minimal effort.
