How to Get to Crimson Forest
Head Southwest of the Map via Flying
The Crimson Forest is located southwest from The Continent and is only accessible after unlocking Esquie's flying ability at the start of Act 3.
The area is a floating rock formation covered in red leaves next to the Endless Tower.

Crimson Forest Puzzle Guide
Interact with the Three Blade Statues

 First Blade Statue Before the fork to The Three Blades rest point. |
 Second Blade Statue From the first statue, turn left and grapple to the next platform then jump down to the bottom-most area. |
 Third Blade Statue Head to the Three Blades rest point and follow the path to its right. |

The Crimson Forest puzzle is essentially just a giant paint cage minigame where you have to interact with the three blade statues scattered across the Crimson Forest for the area boss to appear.
Note that interacting with one blade statue will spawn enemies in the map, making the search a bit more difficult. It is recommended to be at least level 50 to clear the area.
Summon the Boss at The Three Blades Rest Point
After finding all three blade statues, proceed to The Three Blades expedition flag and interact with the pool beside the glowing blade statues.
Interacting with the pool at this point will lead straight to a boss battle so make sure to be healed up before taking it on.
Crimson Forest Bosses
Chromatic Gold Chevaliere
The Chromatic Gold Chevaliere specializes in high-combo Fire and Ice attacks, while its two companions will aim to Mute the party and buff its allies.
Consider equipping the Barrier Breaker on Maelle in order to absorb the armor buffs and practice and memorize the timing of each enemy's attacks for parries and counters.
How to Beat Chromatic Gold Chevaliere
Beating the Boss Unlocks the Weapon Chevalam
Defeating the Chromatic Gold Chevaliere unlocks the weapon Chevalam, which can be equipped to Verso.
Its main gimmick is that Verso will start battles at Rank S, but cannot be healed nor protected. Perfect for players that are proficient in parrying enemy attacks and dodging!
