Expedition 33 Character Builds
Medalum
|
Max Power: 2906
Element: Physical Attribute Scaling: Agility - A Defense - S |
In Act 2 and Act 3, the Medalum excels since you have more attribute points to work with. You can dump your points into Defense which increases Maelle's Crit rate and Attack also due to the scaling. Combine this with high Agility and you'll get a lot of turns. This also allows you to start in Virtuose stance, which is great for maximizing your damage on the first turn.
Brulerum
|
Max Power: 2744
Element: Fire Attribute Scaling: Agility - A Luck - S |
The Brulerum is the best early-game weapon for Maelle, primarily due to the high Luck scaling, in which you would want to invest to get consistent critical hits. Furthermore, this weapon allows you to apply Burn on critical hits, which is extremely potent during the early sections of the game.
Maelle Best Builds and Attributes
Choralim
|
Max Power: 3551
Element: Fire Attribute Scaling: Agility - A Defense - S |
For Act 3, change to Choralim because its passives work really well with extra turns, give her guaranteed crits when she has four Stains, and lets her critical hits apply Burns.
Kralim
|
Max Power: 3390
Element: Lightning Attribute Scaling: Vitality - A Agility - S |
In Act 2, Kralim will be her weapon, especially if you want to use Lune as your main DPS. It increases her damage as long as she uses a different element with each spell cast. It also provides her with free Stains if she doesn't have any and 1 AP whenever she uses a Stain, which helps with AP upkeep.
Trebuchim
|
Max Power: 3067
Element: Lightning Attribute Scaling: Vitality - S Luck - A |
Thanks to its Level 4 Passive skill and its Vitality and Luck scaling, Trebuchim is Lune's best weapon in Act 1 as this gives her survivability and damage. The free Stains that she gets from her Free Aim shots help her strengthen her skills early.
Lune Best Builds and Attributes
Chevalam
|
Max Power: 3067
Element: Physical Attribute Scaling: Agility - S Luck - A |
For Act 3, however, switching to Chevalam is ideal thanks to its strong Passive Skills. Not only do you start at Rank S, but you also have increased damage for every turn that you do not take damage.
Since Verso's playstyle revolves around dodging and parrying attacks, you can get up to 100% additional damage this way.
Gaulteram
|
Max Power: 3261
Element: Earth Attribute Scaling: Agility - S Luck - A |
In Act 2, Gaulteram is the best weapon for Verso thanks to its high Agility, and Luck Scaling and decent Power. Additionally, its Level 4 Passive skill that prevents Rank loss when you are hit is good if you are still getting used to Verso's playstyle.
Verso Best Builds and Attributes
Charnon
|
Max Power: 2970
Element: Void Attribute Scaling: Defense - A Luck - S |
Once in Act 3, Charrnon will be your best weapon, giving Sciel more damage and Foretell consistency due to her guaranteed critical hits in the Twilight state.
Rangeson
|
Max Power: 3132
Element: Dark Attribute Scaling: Agility - S Defense - A |
Once you get to Act 2, replace Sciel's weapon with the Rangeson to give Sciel some survivability with its Level 4 Passive skill, as well as reducing the cost of healing Skills when it reaches Level 10. This turns Sciel into more of a Support character that can still deal damage.
Scieleson
|
Max Power: 3454
Element: Physical Attribute Scaling: Agility - S Luck - A No Passive abilities |
The Scieleson is Sciel's default weapon, and is her best weapon in the early game thanks to its B Scaling in Agility and C Scaling in Luck, which are Sciel's main stats. While it has no passive skills, its strong scaling, and Power more than make up for it.
Sciel Best Builds and Attributes
Joyaro
|
Max Power: 3713
Element: Lightning Attribute Scaling: Agility - S Defense - A |
In Act 3, Monoco can use Joyaro. It lets you start in Almighty Mask and gives you a consistent damage boost also. It scales well with Agility and Defense, providing him with both speed and survivability.
Nusaro
|
Max Power: 4197
Element: Dark Attribute Scaling: Vitality - A Agility - S |
The Nusaro is the best weapon to get for Monoco due to its insane Power and high Agility and Vitality scaling. These are stats you would want since Monoco can easily set the team up with skills like Potier Energy or deal high damage even on enemies with shields through Chevaliere Piercing.
Furthermore, this weapon rewards you for parrying by allowing you to reach Almighty Wheel faster and will let you deal 30% more damage if matching the skill and the wheel, which is extremely powerful!
Abysseram
|
Max Power: 3228
Element: Physical Attribute Scaling: Vitality - S Defense - A |
Abysseram has scalings on both Vitality and Defense, both stats that are great for a support build on Gustave. It even gives a plus two to Vitality which gives Gustave even more HP.
