Osquio Location
Root of All Evil
Osquio is the boss at the end of the Root of All Evil, accessed by riding the train from Verso's Drafts. Enter the portal after exiting the train and climb up the stairs at the end of the room to trigger a cutscene followed by the boss fight.

How to Beat Osquio
- Skip Phase 1 with Stendhal
- Bring Cleanse Skills for Phase 2
- Gradient Parry the Drop Kick
- Land the Gradient Counter
Skip Phase 1 with Stendahl
- Lune triggers Auto Death, Burning Death, Protecting Death, Powerful On Shell, Greater Powerful, and Second Chance
- Sciel with First Strike and Faster Than Strong casts Marking Card and Intervention on Maelle
- Maelle with First Strike and Shortcut casts Last Chance
- Maelle casts Stendhal, ending Phase 1
Players can skip phase 1 of Osquio by nuking them with Maelle and her Stendhal buffed by Sciel's Intervention and the Greater Powerful buff from a combination of Auto Death, Protecting Death, and Powerful on Shell.
Expedition 33 Character Builds
Bring Cleanse Skills for Phase 2
It is imperative to bring cleansing skills such as Sciel's Dark Cleansing or Lune's Healing Light, as each hit of Osquio's attacks applies a stack of Barbapapa during Phase 2. Ensure that Maelle is cleansed of this status at all times, as her role in the fight is to spam Stendhal until Osquio is defeated.
Best Skills for Each Character
Gradient Parry the Drop Kick
Once Osquio performs a "drop kick" on Phase 2, it is advised to land the Gradient Parry at the end of its combo to perform a Gradient Counter. The counter ignores the Barbapapa stacks on allies, allowing them to deal full damage without the need to cleanse it prior.
Due to this, it is best to play it safe and opt for dodging during the combo instead, as the Gradient Counter will succeed as long as the Gradient Parry connects, regardless of whether the players perfectly dodged or parried the rest of the combo.
Land the Gradient Counter
After fully depleting its health in Phase 2, Osquio will immediately take a turn and decide to destroy the world, prompting a Gradient Parry.
Successfully performing a Gradient Counter wins the fight, but failing to do so will force a defeat. Gradient parry soon after it throws the large energy orb to succeed and end the battle in a victory.
