What Are Expedition Flags?
Fast Travel Points
Expedition Flags are Fast Travel points you could use to navigate the world of Clair Obscur. These fast travel points can be used to teleport to different flags within the area with a few exceptions.
Note that these fast travel points cannot be used to teleport from one area to another. As an example, an Expedition Flag from Spring Meadows cannot teleport to Flying Waters.
Upgrades Characters
Expedition Flags are one of the few places players can upgrade their party's skills and attributes! Be sure to double-check if you can make your team stronger to survive tougher enemies in Clair Obscur.
Restores Health
Expedition Flags fully heal your team by resting, making it a good place to stop by before and after a boss fight. Your Chroma Elixirs will also be replenished here. This is crucial info as Chroma Elixirs also fully heal your team during your journey.
Do note that everytime you rest at an Expdition Flag, normal enemies will respawn.
Flags Planted by Previous Expeditions
Lore-wise, Expedition Flags are flags that were put down by the previous Expeditions to help the future ones. All Expeditions have one goal, and that is to defeat the Paintress once and for all.
