How to Get to Crushing Cavern

Crushing Cavern is located west of Stone Wave Cliffs. It is only accessible after unlocking Esquie's ability to swim during Act 2.
From Stone Wave Cliffs, swim west towards the northern shore of Yellow Harvest. Alternatively, exit from the shore north of Gestral Village, then swim towards the northern tip of the island to find the entrance to the Crushing Cavern.

This is a list of all optional bosses you can fight in Crushing Cavern. These bosses are not required and can be skipped if you desire to.
How to Beat Giant Sapling
The walls on the opposing sides of the battlefield will close in on the party at the start of Giant Sapling's turn, forcing a loss at the start of its 6th turn. Exploit its weakness to Fire damage to end the fight quickly, and use Maelle's Breaking Rules when it raises its shields.
The walls will not move if the Giant Sapling is stunned. If the party's damage is lacking, fill the break gauge and use skills such as Maelle's Fleuret Fury to trigger a Break, stunning the Giant Sapling.
