Gestral Beach is an area found in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's overworld, called The Continent. Learn more about Gestral Beach including the area's minigames, collectibles and journals in this Gestral Beach map guide.

Gestral Beaches are optional exploration content around The Continent populated by several Gestrals. The player can visit these areas if they want to unlock items and beat the challenges the Gestrals have in store for them.

The First Gestral Beach is easily accessible after finishing Flying Waters. Head left close to the Red Woods until you see a coast filled with large jars and ornaments.
Flying Waters 100% Guide and all Locations

The second Gestral Beach is found Near the Flying Casino on the map. There will be a shoreline to the northern area of Stone Wave Cliffs and therefore the location is only accessible with Esquie onboard and after having it learn how to swim.

The next Gestral Beach is available after finishing Monoco's Station as part of Act 1: Gustave. This also requires Esquie to learn how to swim to reach the place as it is surrounded by a body of water.

The second-to-the-last Gestral Beach is available after Esquie gets to learn how to swim through coral. This is located southeast of Sirene's Dress, on a shoreline with some red trees on the map.

The last known Gestral Beach is located near the Sunless Cliffs. It now requires Esquie to gain its ability to fly as it is located on a clifface to the southeast, on a large body of water.

The First Gestral Beach has a platforming section where the player is meant to cross obstacles to reach a Gestral on the opposite side of the beach, on a broken pier. This can be tricky as the game's traverse is not fine-tuned for precise movement.

Lune has the ability to float while going on sprint. This exact floating capability makes her easy to move around the course as her pace is easier to follow than running characters.
Use her to traverse the course and be patient with jumping across the gaps. The course is very linear and the character you use will automatically grab onto ledges.
Upon reaching the end of the pier, talk to the small Gestral to acquire Gustave's Swimsuit.

The Gestral will still provide you Lune's Swimsuit if you answer a question he poses related to Gommaging. The correct answer here is 17 but regardless of your answer, they will give you the swimsuit.
You can either jump to the water to get teleported back at the start of the area or redo the course but no more rewards will be given if you finish it again.

The Gestral Beach near Flying Casino has a minigame where the player will follow the attack timing mechanics in a three-stage raft volleyball competition.
The player must do a number of timed strikes to knock-out the opposing Gestral on the opposite side. Beating the three difficulties rewards the player with several items and swimsuits.

This game tests the player ability to time their strike attacks but in a casual minigame setting. Do note that getting used to the timings are crucial in this game mode.
Whenever the Gestral throws the projectile at the player, they must time their Strike/First Attack Button to properly send it back.

Beating the three difficulties nets the player with items and additional swimsuits the player can use for Lune and Sciel.

The Gestral Beach near Monoco's Station features a familiar minigame referencing Foddian games that require players to climb up through tricky platforming sections, often falling back to the start if they fail.
This challenge takes the longest time to complete due to the potential amount of tries and attempts the player might go through. The course is also more complex, requiring rope sections and side jumps.

Lune once again can shine in this stage as it follows the same need for better and precise movement while traversing and her floating capability makes it easier to judge her position when doing jumps and running.
Should the player manage to finish this minigame, the player will be rewarded with Monoco's Swimsuit.

The Gestral Beach near Sirene's Dress presents a platforming minigame very similar to the first, except now its with a timer! The player's goal is to be fast and beat the Gold record, which is 38 seconds to obtain all rewards.

The platforms in this level are designed differently than the one at the first Gestral Beach and are mostly square platforms that require the player to blaze through them.
Best technique for this is to keep on sprinting and properly jumping on the correct platforms to reach the time. The player will be rewarded with materials and Verso's Swimsuit if the player beats it first time under 38 seconds.

The last Gestral Beach near Sunless Cliffs is a rock-climbing competition with a twist, there will be exploding balls that drop on the cliff-face, so avoiding them is a must to get up.

Finishing this minigame requires the player to time their ascent and descent on the rock faces as the exploding balls will cause the player to fall and start again.
Once the player reaches the top, the Gestral will reward the player with Maelle's Swimsuit.

The first Gestral Beach rewards the players with Lune's Swimsuit and Gustave's Swimsuit, after finishing the obstacle course and answering the question of the Gestral at the end of the pier.
