Gestral Race is a mini-game in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, where you can win an outfit for Verso. Learn more about the Gestral Race, tips on reaching the finish line within 38 seconds for the Gold medal, its rewards, and the related trophy in this guide!
How to Play Gestral Race
Reach the Finish Line as Fast as You Can
The Gestral Race, is a time trial minigame where you need to pass through an obstacle course and reach the finish line. You will then be rewarded depending on how fast you reached the finish line.
How to Get the Gold Medal in the Gestral Race
Don't Stop Sprinting
Even after reaching the obstacle course itself, you must keep on sprinting while moving from one platform to another as it builds momentum that extends your jump. Most parts of the course involve platforms with gaps between each one wide enough to make you fall if you are not doing a sprinting jump.
Climb the Right Wall Near the End
Right before the finish line are two climable walls on both sides. Once you reach this part, climb to the right wall as it is shorter and is elevated the same level as the platform where the finish line is. Taking the left wall will ruin your run as it is significantly higher than the right wall.

Swimsuit II |
Getting the Bronze and Silver medals rewards you with a Resplendent Chroma Catalyst and a Grandiose Chroma Catalyst, respectively. These are upgrade materials for weapons. If you manage to reach the finish line in under 38 seconds, you will receive the Swimsuit II outfit for Verso!

Gestral Beach
To play Gestral Race, head one of the Gestral Beaches on The Continent near Sirene. This beach is accessible once the player finishes Old Lumiere and access to Esquie's ability to swim through corals is unlocked.
