The Bourgeon Skin drop is required to complete the Grown Bourgeon quest.
Bourgeon Location
Flying Waters
Bourgeon can be found in the Flying Waters area, near the Lumieran Streets rest point.
Fast travel to Lumieran Streets and turn around to traverse the path between the two buildings. Upon reaching the lamppost, turn left to find a small room where Bourgeon is located.

You will also find the Bourgeon inside the Endless Tower as the notable enemy for Stage 4, Trial 2.
How to Beat Bourgeon
- Read the Tooltip to Know How Many Times You Should Dodge or Parry
- Use Lightning Damage to Exploit Its Weakness
Read the Tooltip to Know How Many Times You Should Dodge or Parry
Bourgeon has a plethora of multi-hit attacks, indicated by the tooltip below its health bar. Pay attention to the tooltip to expect how many times you need to time your dodge or parry during its attacks.
The notable exceptions to this are its Miasma Attack which hits 4 times and its Crushing Combo that hits 6 times. Its Eat move hits once, but can neither be dodged nor parried.
Use Lightning Damage to Exploit Its Weakness
Bourgeon is weak to Lightning damage, allowing skills such as Gustave's Overcharge or Lune's Thunderfall to deal significantly higher damage.
Exploit its weakness as much as possible to end the battle early, as it can later turn the fight into a one-on-one with its Eat attack. When it does, players will be at the mercy of its combos, and possibly locking themselves out of healing options.

Equip Marking Shots to apply the Mark status and significantly increase the damage dealt. The status increases the next damage taken by 50% for the afflicted target, allowing burst damage setups for the first few turns before Bourgeon takes an action.
