Frost Eveque Location
North of Stone Quarry
The Frost Eveque is an optional boss located north of the Stone Quarry. This can be reached as soon as you get through the Forgotten Battlefield during Act 2: Verso.

Flying Manor
The Frost Eveque also appears in a triple boss battle with all the elemental Eveques in the Flying Manor, located in the fourth section of this zone and is hard to miss.
This fight features a random unique invulnerability mechanic that will protect any of the three Eveques and only one can be damaged until the others are taken out.

Endless Tower
Another Frost Eveque appears as one of the bosses of Stage 9, Trial 3 alongside a Flame Eveque and a Chromatic Danseuse in Endless Tower. They must all be taken out to ascend higher in the tower.
How to Beat Frost Eveque
Weak to Lightning
Despite being ice enemy and having "Frost" in its name, Frost Eveque is not weak to Fire, but to Lightning. Hit it with your strongest Lightning skills and equip weapons with Lightning affinity to change the element of your aimed and normal attacks, as well as your adaptive skills!
Spell Attacks Hit Multiple Times
The number of hits the Frost Eveque's attacks make, particularly the two "spells", are randomized and may catch you off guard. The chances of the ice orb spell and the ground thorns spell having more hits than usual increases as the Frost Eveque reaches critical health.
Always assume that each attack will follow up with another until the boss actually stops attacking or your party member(s) executes a counter.
Frost Eveque Attack Patterns
Frost Spear
| Strikes the Expedition with a frost spear that creates two aftershocks. | |
| How to Dodge | Dodge when it swings the spear downward then twice more before the aftershock explodes. |
|---|---|
| How to Counter | Similar to dodging, press the parry button one second after the spear materializes and immediately whenever you see the spear charge up for the aftershocks. |
Ice Spell
| Conjures an orb with its right hand and blasts its target multiple times. | |
| How to Dodge | Dodge when you hear the audio cue. The orb can shoot up to five beams, so prepare to dodge until the attack ends. |

| How to Counter | Press the parry button 0.5 seconds after each audio cue from the beams. Parry all the beams to perform a counter. |
Thorns Spell
| Raises spikes from the ground towards one of the party members before casting them towards the entire party. The number of single target spikes it casts significantly increases when it drops to critical health. | |
| How to Dodge | The spikes will pop out from the ground thrice with the same interval every time. Remember the interval of the first two spikes and time your dodge on the third. |

| How to Counter | Observe the interval of each spike as they can change. Press the parry button on the third spike with the same timing as when the second spike appeared after the first. Parry every third spike until an Expedition counter triggers. |

| Blasts its target after a quick charge up. | |
| How to Dodge | Dodge shortly after the screen turns black and white. |
