Demineur Mine Location
Found in a Small Area Near the Demineur
The Intact Mine the Demineur needs is also located in the same area where the NPC is, but you'll have to do some platforming to get it.
| 1 |  Turn right from the Demineur and jump on the circular platforms until you reach the bigger platform near the center. |

| 2 |  You'll spot a tunnel on your right that you can reach with more platforming. |
| 3 |  Pick up the Intact Mine from the floor and return to the Demineur. |
Should You Examine or Attack the Demineur?
Examine the Demineur First to Get Better Rewards
| Choice | Outcome |

| [Examine] | You'll need to find and retrieve a lost Intact Mine in the area and give it to the Demineur to obtain a new weapon. |
| [Attack] | Demineur will engage you in combat. Defeating it will reward you with Colour of Lumina, Chroma Catalyst, and XP. |
| Let's leave it. | The party will leave it alone, but you can come back later should you wish to obtain the side quest's rewards. |
During the first time that you meet the Demineur NPC, you will have the option to examine it, attack it, or just leave it alone. We recommend examining the Demineur so you can get the Deminerim weapon for Lune after completing its short side quest.
Do Not Attack Demineur Initially
You will still have the option to pick a fight with it even after completing the side quest and obtaining the weapon. Despite this, it is not advised to attack Demineur as players will lose the opportunity to gain a special reward in The Fountain area that can be accessed later in the story.

Players can return to attack Demineur after unlocking the Aiding the Enemy achievement for the extra rewards. This allows maximizing the loot gained from the quest and battle without missing the achievement.

Demineur Side Quest Rewards
Deminerim Weapon for Lune
Returning the lost Intact Mine to the Demineur rewards you with the Deminerim Lightning-type weapon for Lune. This weapon also scales with Agility and Luck.
