Encountering this boss requires Esquie's ability to fly, unlocked after finishing The Monolith. The player must then proceed to the Flying Manor, a post-game area located in the island area where most of Act 2: Verso takes place.
From The Continent's Map, track the location of Forgotten Battlefield's exit, Esquie must fly to the northwest of the mountains until a floating piece of land with roof rubble is found.
The boss itself appears in the fourth section of the Flying Manor as a triple boss fight requiring the player to defeat the Flame Eveque, Frost Eveque and Thunder Eveque.

The boss then reappears inside the Endless Tower as the notable enemy for Stage 7, Trial 1 and Stage 9, Trial 3. It will be easier to defeat on its first appearance.
The boss will be stronger on the latter trial run and will be supported by another Frost Eveque and a Chromatic Danseuse.

This boss is encountered in a triple boss fight with a unique invulnerability mechanic. The player must check first via free-aim shooting whether the boss is invulnerable.
This invulnerability will be randomized between the Flame Eveque, Frost Eveque and Thunder Eveque per approach and the player must neutralize the vulnerable Eveque first before taking on another Eveque.

Like the Frost Eveque and Thunder Eveque alongside it, this boss is resistant to all other elements and absorbs the element it is named after. Therefore, the only attacks that the boss will take damage on are Ice and Void attacks.
Lune with her elemental Ice attacks as well as Maelle's skills that deal Void damage can help take the boss down quickly.
Combat Guide and Tips

One of Flame Eveque's moveset involves dodging incoming spikes against the party. This move is one of the easier moves that the player can commit to dodging or parrying.
Preferably parry these spikes to get easy team counterattacks against the boss, making the fight quicker should the traveling spikes be used continuously against the party.
How to Parry and Counter
| Flame Eveque casts fire beams abovehead twice towards random party members. | |
| How to Dodge | Wait for each strike to charge up before dodging. |
|---|---|
| How to Counter | Parry when the fire ray nearly hits the member. Parry twice to cancel and counter. |
| Flame Eveque casts traveling spikes at random party members for five total attacks. | |
| How to Dodge | Dodge twice when the spike is near the party member then do a team dodge for the last attack. |
|---|---|
| How to Counter | Counter by parrying all five spikes, with the last parry being a team parry. |
| Flame Eveque smashes their weapon and unleashes flaming energy at the party. | |
| How to Dodge | Wait for the animation to nearly finish and dodge at the weapon's moment of impact. Wait for the energy charges to finish then dodge twice quickly afterwards. |
|---|---|
| How to Counter | Parry all three strikes to counter. |
| Flame Eveque will unleash 11 traveling spikes at the player if at low health. | |
| How to Dodge | The first 8 individual attacks require the player to constantly dodge followed by a three-fold spike attack requiring a team dodge. |
|---|---|
| How to Counter | Parry all attacks including the partywide spikes to counter successfully. |
