The Small Bourgeon NPC Locations
Grown Bourgeon
The Grown Bourgeon is initially an interactable character found below the mouth of a petrified Bourgeon. Talking to it will trigger a quest to locate the Bourgeon Skin.
This item requires the player to backtrack to the Lumerian Streets in Flying Waters, near the area's Expeditionary Flag and fight another optional Bourgeon.
This Bourgeon is highly dangerous so the player must prepare their characters first before engaging it. When defeated, it drops the Bourgeon Skin as well as other rewards.

The Grown Bourgeon Grows Bigger
Immediately head back to the Grown Bourgeon and give it the item then return afterwards, this Grown Bourgeon would have matured. You can talk to it and it will give a Colour of Lumina and you can either kill it or leave it alone.
Sparing the Bourgeon is the better option as it will allow the player to receive a reward should they restrain from ending friendly Nevrons.
The Grown Bourgeon Disappears
Alternatively, you can choose to fight the Grown Bourgeon should you feel the need to. Do note that this will lead to a difficult boss fight not dissimilar to the other Bourgeons.
