How to Save in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?
The Game Autosaves Progress
The only way to save any game progress in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is through the autosave function. The 'Save in progress' icon will appear whenever the game autosaves.
Autosaves Whenever A Decision is Made
Whenever you make a decision in-game, such as talking to NPCs, gathering materials, or entering a different location, the game automatically saves your progress.
How to Load Previous Saves
Select Previous Saves in the Pause Menu
When playing the game, you can access up to three previous saves from the Pause Menu.
Select Continue From the Title Screen
You can also choose to continue a game from the Title Screen by selecting an existing save slot through the Continue option.
Can You Save Manually in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?
Force-Save Through Expedition Flags
When you use an Expedition Flag to rest, the game will save your progress in one of its autosave slots. This can be a good way to mark your progress without relying on the autosave alone.
There is No Regular Manual Save Function
There is no way to manually save your progress without an Expedition Flag in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Any progress beyond the last of the three autosave slots are overwritten once the autosave is triggered again.
