Thats just awesome, pat on the back game8 writers. Couple days ago the guide said to kill Jar for extra loot. Not a single mention of consequences. So I killed him. Come to find out now "It is not recommended to attack Jar as players will lose the opportunity to gain a special reward later in the story." Several minor inaccuracies in walkthrough, lacking optional directions to nearby upgrades, build guides are shit, and by following this guide I'm now fucked. Game8 straight trolls.

You could have mentioned that attacking him triggers a boss fight that's basically unwinnable at the beginning of the game.
