Found in the Following Locations

Route 24 Route 25 Celadon City

Abra can be found at the locations listed above. This means that you will need to go to one of the areas and either catch them in the wild, trade for them from an NPC, or obtain it as a gift.

Purchased at the Game Corner

Abra can be obtained at the Celadon Game Corner by purchasing them from the rewards counter. Unlike most other purchases, they can only be bought using the Game Corner's coins, meaning you will need to either farm coins by playing the slot machines, or by purchasing a ton of coins with Poke Dollars.

How to Catch Abra

Throw a Poke Ball at Start of the Battle

Abra will automatically use Teleport once it gets to move in battle. The best way to capture it is by throwing a Poke Ball immediately once the battle begins.

Use Diglett in Battle

Pokemon FRLG - Diglett Diglett

Have Diglett as your starting Pokemon when searching for Abra. Its ability, Arena Trap, prevents Abra from teleporting out of the battlefield.

Use Status Effects to Prevent It From Fleeing

You can use Status Effects to prevent Abra from teleporting away. Use skills like Sleep Powder to capture Abra easily!
