You will encounter Alicia once you reach the top of The Reacher. Make sure that you have accepted Alicia's Level 7 Relationship Quest before heading to the top of The Reacher.

Additionally, make sure to prepare and build your Maelle, as this will be a solo fight.

How to Beat Alicia

Keep Countering Attacks

Alicia Keep Countering Attacks
As with most bosses, the easiest way to deal a lot of damage to Alicia while mitigating the damage you receive is by parrying and countering her attacks. Since her attacks are some of Maelle's Skills, it is easy to get the timing for the parries, especially if you have been using Maelle the entire game.

Equip Pictos and Luminas such as Augmented Counter III or Empowering Parry to increase your damage while parrying.

Take Note of Her Phase Shifts

Alicia has a total of three "phases". While the phase shifts are not as drastic as other boss fights, they will still make your fight harder.

In her first phase shift, accompanied by the message "Alicia gets stronger" Alicia will apply a damage buff on herself. In her second phase shift, accompanied by the message "Alicia gets faster" Alicia will apply Rush on herself.

The first phase shift will occur at around 50% HP, while the second phase shift will happen at around 33% HP.

Defeat Her in One Hit

Alicia Defeat Her in One Hit
Alternatively, it is also possible to defeat Alicia in one hit thanks to Maelle's insane damage output. This is especially possible thanks to Maelle's skill Stendhal, which deals extreme single target Void damage on enemies.

Equip powerful weapons on her, such as Medalum or Barrier Breaker, as well as Pictos and Luminas that buff her attack and first instance of damage such as First Offensive, Augmented First Strike, and Confident Fighter.

Additionally, as this will be a solo fight, equip solo buff Luminas such as Solo Fighter and Last Stand Critical for even more damage.

This method still works after the recent Stendhal nerf and Medalum bugfix.

Sword Ballet

Alicia uses Sword Ballet.
How to Dodge Dodge the four consecutive strikes, then wait for her to jump before dodging the fifth attack.
How to Counter Similar to dodging, parry the first four strikes first, then wait for her to jump before parrying the last strike. Listen to the sound cues for the proper timing.

Virtuose Strike

Alicia uses Virtuose Strike.
How to Dodge Ignore the initial dash, then dodge one attack, followed by three quick attacks, and finally the last delayed jump attack.
How to Counter Similar to dodging, parry the first attack, then the three fast attacks, and finally the delayed jump attack. Listen to the sound cues for the proper timing.

Phantom Strike

Alicia uses Phantom Strike.
How to Dodge Dodge the five consecutive attacks (including the dash) before performing a Gradient Counter on the final attack.
How to Counter Similar to dodging, wait for the sound cues and perform five consecutive parries before performing a Gradient Parry.

Fleuret Fury

Alicia uses Fleuret Fury.
How to Dodge Dodge the initial delayed attack as well as its followup, then wait a bit before dodging its third attack. Dodge the following three attacks, then the delayed upward attack. Finally, dodge the final attack after her spin in the air slows down.
How to Counter Similar to dodging, wait for the sound cues before parrying each of her eight attacks. Note that that she hits twice, once, thrice, once, and once with delays in between.

Void Slash

Alicia performs a Void Slash.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Press the Gradient Parry shortly after Alicia readies her weapon.
