 ⚫︎ R.E.P.O releases a new update that allows players to communicate through voice even when their head is separated from their body. This will allow players to talk using voice chat even if they can no longer move or act on their own.

 ⚫︎ Semiwork has teased more monsters coming to REPO in its October 30 update but isn’t revealing how many or what they look like. In a new Q&A, developer Pontus Sundström said the studio is prioritizing “quality before quantity,” ensuring each monster feels distinct. The update will still include a mix of creatures tied to the existing level system, but fans will need to comb through teaser videos for hints until release.

 ⚫︎ semiwork will release the next REPO update on October 30, with new monsters as its main focus. A first creature, resembling a warthog’s head with fangs on a small human body, was teased, with more details to follow soon.

Key additions include a Server List and Random Matchmaking system, allowing players to select their server region and improving overall connection stability. The update also debuts a new gameplay mechanic—Moon Phases—which adds dynamic modifiers like Overcharge to increase mission difficulty.

 ⚫︎ Semiwork has announced a major update for its co-op horror game REPO, featuring key adjustments to health and crystal systems, enemy behavior, and the addition of new weapons.

In a developer update video, designer Pontus revealed changes to team healing mechanics, including a new team discount for health kits and improved HP recovery when Semibots return to the truck—scaling from 50 HP below Level 5 to 25 HP at Level 10 and above. Crystal pricing will also be rebalanced to encourage more frequent use.

Enemy tweaks are also on the way, with early-level foes becoming more unsteady to make them easier to stun and knock down, addressing player concerns about certain enemies being too resistant to light attacks. The update also introduces new weapons: the Cart Cannon and Cart Laser, designed to give players more tactical options during missions.
