How to Use the Baseball Bat

Hold the Melee Button to Equip

Default Input	Description
V / / (Hold Button)	Switch to Baseball Bat

Similar to the Knife, holding the melee button will automatically pull out the Baseball Bat if you have it equipped in your loadout's Melee slot. You can switch back to your guns by using the Switch Weapon button.

Make sure that you do not do it when you have an enemy right in front of you first since holding the melee button will activate an execution instead.

Tap R2 to Swing the Bat or L2 to Execute

If you are going for Baseball Bat swings, it will take an average of two swings to kill and one if the target has been injured beforehand. Kills with this melee weapon will always be considered as a Point Blank Kill.

For executions, it will be a guaranteed kill after the execution animation. Take note that you can be killed by other enemies during the execution animation.

Disguise with Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade

Getting close to enemies using the Baseball Bat, or any melee weapon in general, will be much easier to do when you use the Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade.

Note that any kills done while in a Sleeper Agent disguise will appear on the enemy team's kill feed as a black redacted bar, hiding your name and giving your enemy team time to investigate – that is, if they pay mind to it!

Be warned that enemy players with the Vigilance perk will be able to detect and see through your Sleeper Agent disguise. Enemy equipment such as the UAV and Prox Alarm will also break it.

The Baseball Bat can serve as any specialist's default melee weapon, but it is best used in a Recon loadout taking advantage of the Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade that allows you to disguise yourself as part of the enemy team.

Make use also of the other equipment such as Smoke for creating distractions and the Blast Trap for surprise explosive kills behind enemy lines.

How to Unlock Baseball Bat

Reach Account Level 52

The Baseball Bat is unlocked by reaching Account Level 52. Use Double XP Tokens or participate in Double XP Events to quickly level up your account to level 52.
