Get Cryo Freeze or Staff of Ice

Cryo Freeze or Staff of Ice

It is a must to have a Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod for one of your weapons or the Staff of Ice. Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod is the easiest to get as you will only need 500 Salvage for it.

Freeze the Two Waterfalls in Dark Aether Nexus

Head over to the Dark Aether Nexus and look for the two Waterfalls in the area. You should be able to find it near the Green teleporter.

Shoot them with your weapon that has the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod or the Staff of Ice to freeze them. It should spawn the Aether Tool on a ruined structure between the Two Waterfall, near the Crafting Table.

You can get a free Aether Tool for freezing the waterfall using a Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod or the Staff of Ice. Higher rounds will spawn better Aether Tool rarities.
