What are the Roman Numerals?

Shows the Order of Rune Symbols for the Glyph Wall Puzzle

Glyph Wall and Jugs

The Roman Numerals displayed on the jugs at the tavern are used to solve the Glyph Wall puzzle in the Undercroft of Citadelle des Morts. They indicate what order of rune symbols you'll have to shoot at the Glyph Wall to activate it.

By default, the roman numerals are not automatically displayed on the jugs and you'll have to interact with them to reveal the numerals. There are 6 jugs in total, meaning you'll also have to shoot 6 rune symbols on the Glyph Wall.

Random Order for Each Playthrough

The roman numerals and the rune symbols on the jugs are random for each playthrough. Each time you replay the Citadelle des Morts main quest, you will have to activate the jugs again to get the rune symbol order for that playthrough.
