Unlocked at Level 9

Black Ops 6 Frenzied Guard Field Upgrade

The Frenzied Guard field upgrade becomes accessible once you reach Level 9. Upon reaching this level requirement, you can equip it in your Loadout under the Field Upgrade slot.

Frenzied Guard Effects and Uses

Draws Aggression and Repairs Armor

The Frenzied Guard Field Upgrade allows you to attract the attention of all nearby zombies, making them focus on you. In exchange, your armor is fully restored immediately and continues to repair itself as you take damage during the upgrade's active period.

Reduce Cooldown by Killing Zombies

Black Ops 6 Field Upgrade Cooldown Meter

The Frenzied Guard has a cooldown after each use, but killing zombies speeds up the recharge. You can monitor the cooldown timer on the bottom right of your screen, which is shown as a circular icon with a green meter above the weapon and lethal equipment icons.

Frenzied Guard Major and Minor Augments

Augment Type Effect
PhalanxPhalanx Major Augment Teammates can also repair armor from kills while near you.
RetributionRetribution Major Augment Trigger an explosion on activation. Normal enemies that melee the player are damaged and knocked down.
Frenzy FireFrenzy Fire Major Augment While Frenzied, use ammo from stock.
Repair BoostRepair Boost Minor Augment Repair more armor per kill.
ExtensionExtension Minor Augment Increase Frenzied Guard duration.
RallyRally Minor Augment On activation, repair all nearby teammates’ armor to full.
