The HDR has the lowest base damage out of all the Snipers currently in BO6 so you'll have to dedicate most of your attachments to improving its damage. Slap on the Monolithic Suppressor and the Long Barrel to ensure you get one shot kills from the chest up.

Next, in order to make it less clunky to use, we give it the Fast Mag I and a Commando Grip to improve both its ADS and Sprint to Fire speeds. Then, we top it off with the Rapid Fire mod just so we reduce time between shots (especially when you need to secure kills after only getting a hit marker).

Unless you have a decent secondary, you'll mostly want to play the edges of the map, getting picks and rotating behind your team in objective-based game modes. For this reason, we go with a full Recon build, just so you aren't caught unawares by more aggressive players on the enemy team.
