How Perk Slots Work
Three Perk Slots with Unique Options
Players have three perk slots, and each slot offers a limited selection of perks associated with the Enforcer, Recon, and Strategist specialty.
Basically, you can only choose one perk per slot, and the perks in the same slot cannot be activated at the same time. For example, you cannot equip the Enforcer perks Assassin, Scavenger, and Bruiser together because they belong in Perk Slot 1.
How to Get a Combat Speciality
Equip 3 Perks of the Same Type to Gain a Combat Specialty
| Specialty | Description |
|---|---|
 Enforcer |
Killing enemies grants a temporary buff to movement speed and health regen rate. |
 Recon |
Enemies can be seen through walls for a short time after respawn; a HUD edge indicator flashes when an enemy is outside your view; leave no death skulls when killing enemies. |
 Strategist |
Earn a score bonus for objectives and destroying enemy content; see enemy content thru walls a short distance; deploy equipment and field upgrades faster. |
Combat Specialty is an additional passive skill that is activated by equipping three perks of the same specialty. If you lean towards a specific play style, it's worth activating a Combat Specialty for the powerful bonuses.
