There will be 14 Multiplayer modes available at the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (BO6). Read on for a list of all multiplayer game modes, total number of players, and how to play each of them.

BO6 Team Deathmatch IconTeam Deathmatch
6v6		 Eliminate enemy players to earn scores for your team.
BO6 Domination IconDomination
6v6		 Capture, hold and defend objectives to earn score for your team. Note that Domination Flags now include a small zone around the flag itself where scoring occurs.
BO6 Search and Destroy IconSearch and Destroy
6v6		 Teams alternate between detonating and defusing a bomb. No respawns. Kill Cam showcases the final kill of the game, rather than the Best Play.
BO6 Kill Confirmed IconKill Confirmed
6v6		 Recover dog tags to score for your team and deny enemy scores.
BO6 Free-For-All IconFree-For-All
8 Players		 Eliminate enemies to earn score. The first to reach the score limit will achieve victory.
BO6 Hardpoint IconHardpoint
6v6		 Capture and hold the Hardpoint zone to earn score for your team. Note that consecutive Hardpoints are numbered, allowing you to more easily keep track of how many Hardpoints each map contains, and where they are.
BO6 GunfightGunfight
2v2		 Eliminate all enemy players using pre-determined classes to win the round. No respawns.
BO6 HeadquartersHeadquarters
6v6		 Compete to capture Headquarters and then defend it. Respawns are disabled for the team that holds the HQ.
BO6 Kill OrderKill Order
6v6		 Eliminate the enemy HVT while keeping your HVT alive. HVT kills earn bonus score for your team. Face Off Alternate Mode also supports Kill Order.

6v6		 Take turns attacking and defending the zones.
BO6 Domination IconFace Off Domination

Hardcore Mode Variant

BO6 Hard Core Mode
The fan favorite Hardcore Mode variant is making its return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, available in select Playlists at launch. In HC Mode, the HUD is limited, friendly fire is enabled, and players have significantly reduced health, creating a more intense and realistic combat experience.
