Ammo Mods will be obtainable via rare loot drops or by buying them with Salvage at Arsenal Machines. These machines must be found around the map in a similar that you find Perk and Pack-a-Punch machines.
Salvage can be obtained as loot from zombies, in the same way that you can obtain Essence from them.
Zombies Ammo Mods grant your weapons a chance to apply special effects on enemies. Like Perk-a-Colas, these mods will help you and your team get through a round by, for example, stopping zombies in their tracks (Freeze) or turning an enemy into an ally to draw the horde (Brainrot).
The effects of Ammo Mods can be bolstered through Augments that are accessed and equipped in the pre-game menu before a Zombies Mode match. You will be able to equip a Minor and Major Augment to an Ammo Mod.
Augments will have to be obtained through the research paths you progress in the menus of Zombies Mode.
