Zombies Exfil Rounds and Rewards

Exfil allows players to end their game and earn bonus XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (BO6) Zombies. This guide covers how to locate Exfil points and the rewards for pulling off a successful Exfil.

Exfil Appears Every Five Rounds After Round 10

Exfil opportunities appear every five rounds after Round 10, meaning Rounds 11, 16, 21, and so forth. Follow the white walkie-talkie icon on your HUD, usually near the spawn point. Exfil is only available for a limited time, so decide quickly if you want to extricate yourself from the map.

How to Exfil

Head to the Exfil Site

Exfil Site

Interact with the Exfil radio to begin your extraction. This eliminates the current round’s zombies and you'll need to head toward the Exfil Site marked on your map. The Exfil Site will vary depending on the round you trigger it.

Kill Zombies Within A Time Limit

Upon reaching the Exfil Site, you’ll need to clear the zombies in the area within a set time before you can be extracted.

If successful, you’ll see a cutscene of your Operator safely escaping in Raptor One. Failure to clear the site in time results in a cutscene showing the helicopter being destroyed.

Upgrade Your Weapons and Perks

Before starting an Exfil, make sure you’re fully equipped with weapon and perk upgrades, as you’ll face a challenging horde of zombies on your way to the Exfil Site.

We recommend using high-rarity weapons with at least one Pack-a-Punch upgrade to cut through zombies efficiently. Purchase Jugger-Nog and Level II Armor Vest for extra durability against zombie attacks.

Use Distraction Utilities

While luring zombies together and taking them down is effective, the time limit can make it tricky. Use distraction utilties like a Cymbal Monkey or Decoy Grenade to draw zombies into a cluster, making it easier to killing them quickly.

Alternative: Save Your Game Instead of Exfil

If you’d like to take a breather without ending the match, you can now save your game — a first for Zombies mode. This feature allows you to retain your progress within the match. To save, open the Menu and select Save and Quit.

Exfil Rewards

Earn Bonus XP

Successfully completing an Exfil rewards you with Bonus XP. Additionally, any Essence that you were carrying will be automatically converted to Bonus XP.

Receive GobbleGums

From Round 16 onwards, a successful Exfil grants you a bonus GobbleGum. GobbleGums are powerful consumable items that grant you buffs that can give you an edge in your next Zombies game.
