The AS Val is a full-auto assault rifle best used in close-range combat due to its high fire rate.

We will want to improve its base ammo count (20) with the Flip Mag (25 rounds) to account for its high fire rate and base 21 damage (takes 5 torso shots to kill at 10m). Feel free to increase this (up to Extended Mag III with 45 rounds) depending on your preference.

For improved recoil control, go with the Ranger Foregrip and Recoil Springs. Add the Full Stock for bonus ADS speed, aim walking speed, and flinch resistance. Lastly, equip the Suppressed Reinforced Barrel to maximize the AS Val's damage range and bullet velocity.

Go with a stealthy run-and-gun playstyle of Recon-related perks with the addition of Gung-Ho for speed on sprints, tactical sprints while reloading, and when using equipment.

When going behind enemy lines, you may want to bring a Blast Trap for catching enemies in unexpected places, Stim Shot for quick healing and more tactical sprint, and Tactical Insertion for setting a respawn point where you can easily flank enemies.

How to Unlock AS VAL

Reach Account Level 55

The AS VAL is unlocked by reaching Account Level 55. Use Double XP Tokens or participate in Double XP Events to quickly level up your account to level 55.
